1st of all, sorry for MIA for a while.. anyone missed me?? After our 3rd Anniversary Meet, I was too lazy to do anything including cross-stitching. Actually at this moment i'm still not in mood to update my blog. So, here's just a few photo from the Anniversary Meet that was held at Sabariah's house @ Setia Alam, Selangor. Lucky Draw - Sabariah received mine ~ Simple drawstring with Eifal Tower (crossstitched - from Blackbird Design) and a compulsory felt flower (i made into hair barrette)

Co-incidentally, i received Sabariah's gift - a big 'kekabu' pillow with crocheted cover and compulsory felt flower too

I also managed to complete my exchanges. Even though its not comes to the dateline yet, i used this opportunity to send out my exchange, so i don't have to mail it out.

Pincushion Exchange - Once again MW became my exchange partner. The theme for this exhange is Blue. So for the safe side, i made everything in blue

Even the 3 compulsory stashes also in blue including the box.. LOL!

Bookmark Exchange received from Paul. What a surprised! But unfortunately i /we can't open it until International Book Day on 23 April 2010. Another waiting in pain *sigh*

Valentine Exchange 2010

Actually i received my VE from my secret partner long time ago, on 23rd January if i'm not mistaken. But our organizer, MW only allowed us to open our exchange gift on 14th Feb. So, to avoid myself peeking my gift, i hid it somewhere under my table.. LOL

My secret partnet was Usha from Klang, Selangor. Thanks so much Usha for the lovely card, crocheted heart shape coasters + crocheted flower paperclips. Opsss.. Usha gave me additional stashes too - a long ric-rac ribbon and flower beads.


And these are my VE to Maria in Portugal - a Valentine card (crossstitched on front) + an ornament (crossstitched too)+ tissue pouch + rose. I also add a fridge magnet and 2 postcards of Malaysia. Hopefully Maria will like everything i send to her..

Spring SAL ~ Update04

Bersemangat nih nak update SAL aku nih.... hahahahaa.. takde jugak sebenornya... actually, maybe aku takleh online pasni sampai New Year nanti... maybe je. Takut lambat sgt lak nanti nak update..

So, ni je la yg sempat aku siapkan. Nak kata byk tu tak jugak... nak kata sikit, nampak mcm dah byk jugak.... hehehehehee.. sibuk buat mende lain...


Antara alasan2 yg agak reasonable tak byk jahit tu - aku sibuk siapkan Lucky Gift (akanku blog di entry akan dtg, kena tunggu lucky person tu terima parcel dr aku. So bersabar la yek). Alasan yg paling best adalah seperti di bawah:

Jgn gelak ok.... senyum je.... Ini adalah hobi terbaru cik Alynn selepas Quilt & Patchwork. Org lain dah terer buat mcm2 design, aku baru ni je... tu pun single stitch je. Double stitch pun mcm dah ok, tp lupa nak amik gambar sbb aku dah bukak balik... hahahahahaa... lupo lak, sila abaikan kecacatan tu ye... i'm beginner remember... bukan senang ye puan2 nak belajar ngan Cikgu YouTube. Tengok boleh la, tp nak bertanya tu yg tak boleh tu. Nak taknak terpaksa la repeat video tu byk kali.. Tengok buku apa tah lagi, makin pening ada la. Apa2 pun yg paling best, MrHubby bg full support. Tu yg bersemangat tu... pasni nak belajar lak buat treble, double treble, quarduple etc...etc... apo ke bondo nye ni wehhhhh!!!!!

Nota kaki : K.Shima & Yati, maybe bulan dpn sy agak slow berSAL ni ye.... ada projek yg terpaksa disiapkan dlm masa 1.5 bulan... akan di'blog' dlm masa terdekat apa ke mende yg cik Alynn merepek ni...

Stitching Bee August'09 @ Starbuck, Bangsar Village II

Last Saturday was NNC Stitching Bee. Still at the same place and the same time. After met Sue from Sweetsue Cupcake ( I ordered 50pcs of yummy and delicious cupcake), I rushed to Bangsar LRT Station to pick-up Roses. We arrived at BV2 at almost 10.00 but unfortunate I had tyre puncture. It happened just when Rose got in the car.. LOL.. Its ok Rose, not your fault laa... Luckily not me who drove the car, MrHubby did!!! If not, aiyaaa... it will spoil my mood already..

Me, my DD - Afiqah and Rose were the 1st arrived at Starbuck around 10.15 (we waited MrHubby changed the old tyre), followed by Anna and then Veronica... Later other members arrived - MW and DD, MW's sister - Jackie, June, Lilie, Janet and DD, Sabariah and Mel. BTW, Nik was not here this round due to her exam.
